齊藤隆嗣 | Takatsugu Saito

政治哲学や自身の幼少の記憶などをたよりに、架空のファウンドオブジェクトを制作しインスタレーションを立ち上げる。作品を通じて紡がれるナラティブによって、架空の異界やその住人、そこに辿り着くために必要な距離や手段を描き、これに参画する私たちのコミュニケーションや振る舞いについて再考をはかる。

 Depending on political philosophy and personal childhood memories, the artist creates fictional found objects and sets up installations. Through the narrative woven by the work, the artist portrays imaginary otherworlds and their inhabitants, as well as the distance and means necessary to reach them. The work invites a reconsideration of our communication and behavior as we participate in this experience.
